90 Degree Process

Based on over a decade in commercial contracting, we believe a successful commercial construction project depends on building a detailed plan and estimate, adhering to documented processes—similar to how projects are managed in other industries—and most importantly, clear and constant communication. With these components in place, you know exactly what’s going to happen, when it’s going to happen, and how much it’s going to cost.

There should never be any surprises in a commercial construction project!

The process of constructing a new commercial building or retail space can be overwhelming, especially the sheer number of ‘To Do’ items in the early phases of a project and the amount of time it can take to complete them. Allow 90 Degree to take on the responsibilities for planning, coordinating, and supervising the project from start to finish. We ensure that projects stay on budget by completing on schedule, negotiating contracts and supplies, and securing building permits and licenses.

The 90 Degree Process is simple, yet comprehensive…and it works:

We work closely with you, your architect, and anyone else involved in the project to gather the information we will need to build a detailed project plan.

We then get detailed cost and time estimates from all subcontractors involved in the project.

We build the project plan, breaking down each task so you see what will happen and how much it will cost.

Communication is critical, so we keep you informed throughout the process with frequent progress reports and walk-throughs. Reports include building inspection reports, progress pictures, and schedule updates highlighting any potential delays.

We thoroughly document all communication, including providing written confirmation of change orders.

We also have a process for the project turnover, including a final punch list and walk-through, ensuring you are completely satisfied with the project before it is officially completed.
